Safety Guidelines
The Six Rules of Junior Riding
Before any young person gets on a bike or quad, these rules apply — no exceptions.
Always wear appropriate protective gear — helmet, pads, boots.
Never ride alone. Always have a supervisor or riding buddy present.
Take a structured safety class before your first ride.
No off-road vehicles on public roads — ever.
Know your limits. Start slow, build up progressively.
Keep emergency contacts accessible. Inform someone of your location.

Junior Mobility Categories
From off-road adventure to road preparation — structured pathways for every young rider in Mauritius.
Motocross
Ages 12–25 years
Off-road motorcycle riding on purpose-built tracks. Requires proper gear, supervised training, and a structured progression from beginner to competition level.

Four-wheeled off-road vehicles (ATVs) offering stability for younger riders. Popular in Mauritius for leisure and sport. Requires safety training before independent riding.

Junior Scooter Training

Junior Driver Preparation
Ages 16–18 years

The Junior Mobility Academy
Mauritius has the terrain, the talent, and the appetite. What it needs is a structured youth academy for off-road riding. These spots are open — for the right operator.
Youth Motocross Academy
A structured training programme for young riders aged 12–18. Beginner to intermediate progression, certified instructors, proper track facilities.
Junior ATV / Quad Academy
Safety-first quad biking classes for ages 10+. Supervised sessions, graded progression, parental consent flow, and competition pathway.
Eco Off-Road Trails
Guided off-road experiences through Mauritius's interior — connecting junior mobility with the island's natural landscape. Safety-led, eco-conscious.
Junior Instructor Pathway
A formal pathway for young people (18–25) to train as certified motocross or ATV instructors. Connects to the apprenticeship flow.
